Lori Toups-Fenton, ASID

Lori Toups-Fenton, an Allied Member of ASID, 1996 graduate from the University of Houston in Interior Design, and a professional, award-winning, and published designer. She has been providing her unique custom designs to some of Houston’s most fabulous & elite properties since 1996.

Her talent is showcased by her ability to transform homes into elegant, luxurious spaces, complemented by 21st-century style and amenities. Lori and Sweetlake Interior Design LLC (SLID) specialize in high-end design-and-build projects, with an emphasis on streamlining & modernizing interior spaces for residential & commercial projects throughout Houston and the surrounding areas.

Sarah Lovell, Associate ASID

Sarah Lovell graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May of 2022. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a minor in Business. Sarah is now working toward becoming NCIDQ-certified (National Council for Interior Design Qualification), one of the highest-ranking interior designer certifications. Her passion is to become LEED Certified to provide more eco-friendly designs for our clients.

Sarah interned with Sweetlake Interior Design in the Summer of 2021. She worked with us for 3 months, and showed dedication, ambition, &amp most importantly, partnership. These important qualities, especially for our line of work, allowed our team to offer Sarah a full-time position in March of 2022. Sarah demonstrates dedication to each client , focusing on understanding the client’s vision.

Jennifer Jones

Office Manager

Jennifer Jones joined the Sweetlake Interior Design team in 2017, serving as both the Office Manager and Lori’s dedicated Assistant. Jennifer graduated from California Baptist University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in business, and is a certified Paralegal. With nearly a decade of experience navigating the firm’s daily operations, she is the primary point of contact for clients and vendors alike.

Jennifer’s organizational expertise and deep understanding of the design process ensure that every project moves seamlessly from the initial consultation to the final reveal.

Emily Obregon

Designer | AutoCAD

Houston Community College graduate Emily Obregon earned her Associate Degree in Interior Design in May 2025 and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design to continue strengthening her skills and expanding her knowledge within the field.

Emily is passionate about understanding her clients’ visions and creating spaces with intention, creativity, and functionality. Her design style is eclectic and versatile, allowing her to adapt to a wide range of aesthetics best to accommodate each client’s unique needs and personality.

Emily joined Sweetlake Interior Design as an intern in January 2026 and was later hired on through her dedication, eagerness to learn, and growing experience in the industry. As she continues to grow with the company, Emily remains committed to gaining knowledge, refining her craft, and deepening her understanding of the interior design field.
